Behind the tree they walked, two young lovers, hearts united. Behind the tree they talked, in each other, excited.
Out walking in Bradgate Park I met a lovely young couple. I stood waiting for them to walk down the hill, so that once they were hidden behind the tree, I could take this photo. I couldn't help but mention to them how long I had waited and showed them the photo. Destiny woud have it that we met again a short while later by the visitor centre and they kindly bought me a drink. They were two students from Loughborough University and we chatted for a time. If by providence they venture upon this post on my website, then the verse above I compiled walking back to the car park is for the couple behind the tree.
'Love, as ancient as the hills, stands as a monument in this increasingly fragile world.'
First and foremost a father to a daughter and a son, both, who I love more than dare say. Next a searcher, a gamer, a would-be novelist, a supporter, who loves socialising, the outdoors, and those moments when eternity touches the soul.
